Who We Are

Lohem Partners is an outsourced workout, asset management, and restructuring advisory firm built to serve private credit funds and the companies they finance in the middle market and lower middle market. We provide independent fiduciary, restructuring, and operational turnaround services. Our team has experience as board members, crisis managers and interim executives, with custom solutions built for each situation.

We understand the need for speed when timelines are short: covenant defaults, liquidity challenges, operational underperformance, rescue financing, bankruptcy planning, and everything in between. We think like investors and align interests with our clients, as our work is measured by outcome — not billable hours.

Services

What your portfolio needs, when it needs it.

Private credit portfolio managers face a familiar constraint: challenged loans demand senior attention, but internal bandwidth is finite. Lohem provides the independent, operationally fluent resources to supplement your team and address the challenges head-on, without shifting focus away from sourcing, fundraising, and other competing objectives.

Outsourced Workout Advisory

When borrowers are close to defaulting or ultimately trip covenants, Lohem acts as an extension of your platform. We take on day-to-day management of challenged credits — monitoring borrower performance, negotiating amendments, driving consensual resolutions where possible, and taking enforcement actions if necessary.

Chief Restructuring Officer

When a portfolio company needs hands-on leadership through a balance-sheet restructuring, Lohem places a partner-level CRO inside the business. We take responsibility for cashflow monitoring, profit improvement, stakeholder management, and developing a value creation plan.

Fiduciary Services

An independent board member with restructuring experience provides stakeholders with an outside and independent voice to navigate through a range of governance and lender liability dynamics.

Interim Management

When a portfolio company loses a CEO, CFO, or COO — or when the incumbent team is not equipped for the situation — Lohem provides interim executives to stabilize the business, restore lender confidence, and maintain operational continuity while a permanent solution is identified.

Approach

A disciplined process, adapted to the situation.

Assess

Rapid diagnostic of liquidity, operating performance, capital structure, and stakeholder positions. Written deliverable within weeks — often days.

Stabilize

13-week cash controls, vendor and customer management, and communication discipline. Restore predictability before pursuing solutions.

Restructure

Operational and balance-sheet alternatives. Negotiate with lenders, sponsors, and counterparties. Prepare for court if necessary.

Execute

Implementation inside the company. Transition to durable management. Outcome measured against the recovery the lender expected.
